On 25 April 2026, His Excellency Farkhod Ermanov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan, His Excellency Vladimir aka Jollibekov, Minister of Investment of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan along with other senior officials, held a high-level meeting with Mr. Abid Kabir Cheema, Executive Director of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. (HRL Group) and CEO of Silicon Village, along with representatives of AKS Information Co., Ltd. from South Korea. The meeting was held at Nukus, capital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
This important engagement was facilitated and initiated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, whose leadership and vision were instrumental in convening key stakeholders and advancing bilateral cooperation.
The meeting took place as part of the visit by the Pakistan–South Korea business delegation to Uzbekistan, aimed at exploring new avenues for investment, industrial collaboration, and technological exchange. Discussions focused on identifying opportunities in key sectors, promoting sustainable development, and building long-term partnerships that can contribute to regional economic growth.
