On 11 August 2026, His Excellency Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, invited Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram and conferred upon him a prestigious Special Appreciation Certificate in recognition of his valuable contributions to promoting and strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin highly commended Mr. Akram’s dedication, commitment, and continuous efforts in advancing academic, cultural, economic, and people-to-people exchanges between Kazakhstan and Pakistan. He acknowledged Mr. Akram’s significant role in fostering mutual understanding and enhancing collaboration between institutions, researchers, policymakers, and business communities of the two friendly countries.
The Ambassador noted that such efforts contribute positively to the development of stronger bilateral relations and create new opportunities for cooperation in diverse fields, including education, research, trade, investment, regional connectivity, and cultural exchange. He expressed his appreciation for Mr. Akram’s unwavering support in promoting constructive engagement and dialogue between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
On the occasion, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also expressed his sincere gratitude to Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin for the honour and warm recognition. He highly appreciated the Ambassador’s dynamic leadership and tireless efforts in further strengthening Kazakhstan–Pakistan relations.
