On 8 October 2026, a four-member delegation of the International Business Women Association (IBWA) “Tadbirkor Ayol” of Uzbekistan, currently visiting Pakistan from 6 to 10 October 2026, visited The Millennium Universal College (TMUC), Islamabad, where Ms. Sabina Zakir, Director, The Millennium Universal College (TMUC), along with the TMUC team, warmly welcomed the delegation. During the visit, the delegation held discussions with the TMUC leadership and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening educational, professional, and institutional cooperation. The engagement was supported by Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Limited (HRL Group) and facilitated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram.
The delegation comprised Ms. Gulnora Makhmudova, Chairwoman, Uzbekistan International Business Women Association (IBWA) “Tadbirkor Ayol”; Ms. Nodira Begim Mukhamadalieva, Head of International Department, Uzbekistan IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol”; Ms. Dilyafruz Tashmukhamedova, Chairwoman, IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Tashkent City Branch; and Ms. Anjelika Ogay, Project Manager, IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Tashkent City Branch.
The MoU was signed by Ms. Gulnora Makhmudova, Chairwoman of IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Uzbekistan; Ms. Sabina Zakir, Director, The Millennium Universal College (TMUC); and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, representing Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Limited (HRL Group). The agreement provides a framework for cooperation in English language development, educational opportunities, professional development, skills enhancement, women’s empowerment, and international exchange.
A key area of cooperation includes the Train-the-Trainer Exchange Programme, through which trainers from Uzbekistan can acquire relevant skills and expertise and subsequently facilitate English language learning and professional development programmes for women in Uzbekistan. The collaboration also aims to create opportunities for Uzbek women to pursue educational, training, and skills-based programmes in Pakistan while gaining exposure to Pakistan’s academic, professional, and entrepreneurial environment.
The signing of the MoU marks an important step towards developing a long-term institutional partnership between The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) and IBWA “Tadbirkor Ayol,” Uzbekistan, with the support of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Limited (HRL Group). The collaboration is expected to promote knowledge exchange, capacity building, professional networking, women’s entrepreneurship, and stronger institutional linkages between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, thereby contributing to enhanced educational cooperation and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.
