On 10 September 2026, Dr. Adil Khan, Head of the Department of International Relations, Hazara University, Mansehra, visited the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad, where he met with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF. The meeting focused on strengthening research cooperation, promoting intellectual exchange, and exploring opportunities for collaboration between PRCCSF and Hazara University.
During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram provided Dr. Adil Khan with a detailed briefing on the working, activities, research initiatives, and outreach of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad. He highlighted the Center’s efforts to promote academic and intellectual discourse on regional and international issues, with particular emphasis on the concept of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China’s Global Initiatives, development and foreign policy, regional connectivity, China-Central Asia relations, and emerging opportunities for cooperation among countries across the region.
Mr. Akram explained that PRCCSF serves as a platform for research, dialogue, knowledge exchange, and scholarly engagement on issues related to regional cooperation, connectivity, sustainable development, and people-to-people linkages. During the meeting, Mr. Akram also provided Dr. Adil Khan with an overview of the Institute for a Community with Shared Future (ICSF), Communication University of China (CUC), Beijing, and its academic and research-oriented initiatives. He briefly discussed the ICSF-CUC Fellowship Programme, including its objectives, key themes, eligibility criteria, and opportunities available to students and young researchers. He highlighted the fellowship as an important platform for academic exchange, cross-cultural learning, international exposure, and developing a deeper understanding of the Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, the BRI, regional cooperation, and related initiatives.
Both sides discussed potential opportunities for collaboration between PRCCSF and Hazara University, particularly in the areas of academic exchange, research cooperation, scholarly engagement, and fellowship opportunities.
