On 12th March 2026 , It was an honor to welcome an esteemed 18-member business delegation from the Tashkent Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by His Excellency Zoyir Mirzaev, Regional Governor, at the headquarters of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. The delegation engaged in detailed discussions with the top management regarding collaboration opportunities in the construction sector and the development of new cities in Uzbekistan.

The conversations centered on leveraging Pakistan’s expertise in large-scale urban development, infrastructure planning, and modern construction technologies to support Uzbekistan’s urbanization goals. Both sides highlighted the potential for knowledge exchange, joint ventures, and long-term partnerships aimed at building sustainable, smart cities. This meeting was arranged and facilitated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram , with participation from His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan.
