On 12th March 2026 , His Excellency Zoyir Mirzaev, Regional Governor of the Tashkent Region, Republic of Uzbekistan, who is currently visiting Lahore with an 18-member high-level business delegation visited tge Headquarters of Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd ( GO Group , Food Division ) to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The discussions focused on exploring strategic collaboration in the agriculture and dairy sectors, which present significant potential for mutual growth and technology exchange between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Both sides shared insights on modern farming practices, dairy value chains, food security, and investment opportunities that can foster sustainable agricultural development in the region.

This engagement highlights the increasing momentum in Pakistan – Uzbekistan economic cooperation, especially in agribusiness and food production.
