On 6 February 2026, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram participated as a speaker at the Online Introductory Session “Call For Young Leaders” organized by the National Youth Leadership Programme (NYLP). He delivered a comprehensive talk on the theme “Opportunities for Youth through Collaborative Partnerships,” highlighting the critical role of collaboration among academia, government institutions, the private sector, civil society, and international partners in empowering youth. He emphasized leadership development, skills enhancement, innovation, and strategic partnerships as essential pathways for creating sustainable opportunities for young people in an increasingly interconnected world.
The session was further enriched by the presence of distinguished speakers, including Professor Dr. Tahir Mumtaz Awan, Director of the Pakistan Institute for China Studies (PICS), and Mr. Muhammad Ikram Barkat, Director General of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). The programme brought together a vibrant and dynamic team from the National Youth Leadership Programme (NYLP) under the leadership of young generation leaders Khoja Sheraaz Ali, Almas Majeed, Inbisat Khan, Laiba Qureshi, Aneesa Khan, Muneeza Qureshi, along with other committed members. Their collective efforts reflect NYLP’s strong dedication to nurturing youth leadership, promoting civic engagement, and fostering collaborative platforms that enable young people to contribute meaningfully to national and global development.
