On 3 February 2026, His Excellency Jamshidjon T. Abduzukhurov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram and Mr. Aamir Khawas, CEO of GO Foods Pakistan. The meeting also included top importers of meat products from Uzbekistan. The Uzbek delegation is currently on a business visit to Pakistan.
Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister formally acknowledged the quality and potential of products manufactured by GO Foods Pakistan, recognizing their standards, innovation, and market relevance. During the engagement, the Deputy Minister invited GO Foods Pakistan to explore business opportunities and operational collaboration in Uzbekistan, reflecting the country’s growing interest in partnering with reputable Pakistani food and agri-processing companies.
This development highlights the expanding scope of Pakistan–Uzbekistan cooperation in agriculture, food processing, and value-added exports, and reinforces the role of the private sector in strengthening regional economic integration across Central and South Asia. Such engagements pave the way for joint ventures, technology transfer, and market access, benefiting both economies and contributing to sustainable agri-industrial growth.
