On 18 January 2026, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, along with Mr. Babak Huseynli, Coordinator of the Pakistan–Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, attended the 27th edition of ITCN Asia at the Lahore Expo Centre. The premier technology and ICT exhibition was held from 17 to 19 January 2026, bringing together global stakeholders from the technology sector.
The event featured over 3,500 technology companies, more than 800 exhibition stalls, and participation from over 100 foreign delegations, making it one of the largest ICT showcases in the region. During their visit, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram and Mr. Babak Huseynli engaged with various stakeholders to discuss key initiatives and potential areas of collaboration in the Information Technology sector between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
The discussions emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation through technology partnerships, knowledge sharing, and investment opportunities, reflecting the growing interest in enhancing digital connectivity between the two countries.
Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Wajahat Ali, Member of Centre for Alternative Perspectives (CAP) for accompanying and supporting the delegation during the visit.
