26th January 2026 – A two-member Chinese delegation from Leviathan Group, which specializes in big data centers, advanced digital solutions, smart technologies, and emerging IT platforms., called on the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, to explore opportunities for cooperation in Pakistan’s rapidly growing information technology sector.
The delegation comprised Mr. MingQian Sun, Chief Executive Officer of Leviathan Technologies, and Mr. Dinglin Mei, Senior Representative of the Group. The meeting also attended by Mr. Zeeshan Qureshi, Chief Operating Officer of Capital Smart Innovations, and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Adviser to the Chairman, HRL Group.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation expressed keen interest in exploring long-term partnerships and investment opportunities in Pakistan, acknowledging the country’s expanding digital ecosystem and availability of a skilled human resource base.
Mr. MingQian Sun briefed the Federal Minister on Leviathan Technologies’ areas of expertise and discussed prospects for joint collaboration, technology transfer, and potential investments in Pakistan’s IT sector.
Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja welcomed the delegation and highlighted the Government of Pakistan’s strong commitment to promoting foreign investment, strengthening digital infrastructure, and fostering a business-friendly environment for international technology companies. She emphasized on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Digital Nation Pakistan’s vision to emerge as a regional hub for IT services, innovation, and digital transformation.
The Chinese delegation appreciated the government’s positive policy outlook and reaffirmed their interest in continued engagement with Pakistani stakeholders to explore collaborative projects. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintain close coordination and identify concrete avenues for cooperation in the near future, contributing to stronger Pakistan China technological and economic ties.
