Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan invites Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram for “Nowruz 2025” Celebrations at Islamabad

On 21st March 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) attended the vibrant “Nowruz 2025” celebrations hosted by His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in Islamabad. This festive event showcased the rich tapestry of Central Asian culture and traditions, featuring a delightful array of traditional cuisine that highlighted the culinary heritage of the region.
The celebrations were a testament to the historical bonds of brotherhood shared among the Central Asian countries. The atmosphere was filled with joy and a sense of unity, reflecting the significance of Nowruz as a festival that marks the arrival of spring and represents renewal and hope.
Distinguished diplomats from various countries were in attendance, including representatives from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, and Turkiye. Their presence underscored the event’s significance and demonstrated the strong diplomatic ties among these nations.
Mr. Akram’s participation reflected his commitment to promoting cultural exchange and cooperation, highlighting the important role such events play in strengthening ties between Pakistan and its Central Asian neighbors.
