On August 2, 2025, a high-level five-member Chinese business delegation from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and Precise Development (HK) Limited, is currently visiting Pakistan to explore synergies and investment opportunities. During their visit, they met with the Secretary of Defence Production, Lieutenant General Muhammad Chiragh Haider (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence Production in Islamabad. The Secretary warmly received the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The Chinese delegation was headed by Mr. Yi Jiang, Director of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and Mr. David Chu, CEO of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China. During the meeting, the Chinese delegates commended the Pakistani Armed Forces, recognizing them as among the best globally. They also praised the Pakistani government for fostering a conducive business atmosphere that has encouraged foreign investments and technological partnerships. This positive approach is expected to strengthen not only economic ties but also defense collaboration between the two countries.
The discussions culminated in mutual agreements to enhance cooperative ventures, particularly focusing on areas such as defense technology, infrastructure development, and investments in key sectors. Both underscored the potential for furthering collaboration, aiming for tangible outcomes that would benefit both nations and contribute to regional stability and growth.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Director Eurasian Region, Precise Development (HK) Limited, China.
