On 9th October 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), was honored to attend the book launch ceremony of the Urdu version of “The History of Patriotic War: Personality Factor” jointly organized by Embassy of Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and National Assembly of Pakistan at National Assembly, Parliament House, Islamabad.
The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, who commended the close and enduring friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He highlighted the significance of Azerbaijan’s historic struggle and appreciated the strong parliamentary and diplomatic ties between the two brotherly nations.
H.E. Mr. Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, hosted the event and warmly welcomed all esteemed guests. The book highlights the remarkable statesmanship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, portraying his exemplary leadership qualities. It was a significant occasion celebrating rich insights into President Aliyev’s role as a visionary statesman.
The ceremony was also attended by a large number of federal ministers, ambassadors, and diplomats from various Central Asian states, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. They lauded Azerbaijan’s remarkable resilience and leadership during the Patriotic War, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and shared regional cooperation among friendly nations.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from the Embassy of Azerbaijan and participants, emphasizing the importance of such literary and academic initiatives in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
